Is your jewellery handcrafted?

Yes, absolutely. Every piece is designed and handmade by myself

Is your jewellery antique or vintage?
​
No, all the jewellery is made by myself but many of the designs are inspired by vintage and antique jewellery, specially designs from the Art Nouveau and Edwardian period.

Why buy Handmade Jewellery?
​
When you buy handmade jewellery, you are buying quality jewellery directly from the artist. Individually made with passion and care, these are often one-of-a-kind pieces. Handmade jewellery is not cheap, poor quality or mass produced. By its very nature, you will never see someone else wearing exactly the same piece of jewellery as you. If you are buying a gift this is an added bonus as you can rest assured that the gift recipient will not already have one.

Where is Adorn-You Jewellery made?

All Adorn-You jewellery is handmade in my home studio in rural Wales close to the English border.

How can I pay for my order?

All orders can be made using most popular credit cards and with paypal

Is my personal information secure?
​
We process all of our orders through the Wix Secure Server, which utilizes the highest state-of-the-art industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology to protect all personal information for secure e-commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.

Millions of online orders are processed safely through the Wix Secure Server every year. What this all means is that our customers can buy with confidence knowing that their credit card information is EXTREMELY safe and protected by the highest level of technology available. We also do not send unsolicited e-mail and NEVER sell or share any customer information with anyone.

Can I change or cancel my order once it has been submitted?
​
To change OR cancel your order, you will want to contact us as soon as possible after submitting it. Orders already shipped cannot be cancelled.

How much is shipping costs?
​
Most item are shipped with 2 days after placing your order. If your order is urgent, please contact me and I can expediate quicker shipping for you.

What is your return policy?
​
I am happy to make an exchange or refund for any items with which you are not completely satisfied. The item must be returned new and unworn within 21 days of purchase, in the original packaging and posted in a padded envelope (e.g. Jiffy bag) for protection. I take no responsibility for lost or damaged packages and I recommend a tracked service to prevent parcels getting lost. If you wish to return an item, please contact me for details of how to return your item.
CARE AND REQUESTS

I want to change the earring hooks, what choices do you offer?
​
I am happy to change the earring hooks and your options include – ear wires, kidney wires and ear posts.

Why is my silver Jewellery changing colour?
​
All metals can tarnish over time. Some faster than others. It is a natural reaction that happens when the metals are exposed to the air and chemicals from products and our own skin chemistry.
​
Regular cleaning will remove it. To slow the process and to prolong the life of your jewellery do not wear whilst swimming or showering. Only put your jewellery on once lotions and perfumes have sunk into the skin. It is best to store jewellery items in sealable poly bags to help reduce exposure to the air.

Is your jewellery Hypoallergenic, Nickel Free & Lead Free?
​
Yes! I use hypoallergenic, nickel free and lead free materials for my jewellery. Product descriptions will always list the exact materials used to make each piece.

Will I get what I see in your photographs?
​
I do my absolute best to capture the colours and look of each piece, but colour settings on your device or monitor may subtly change the way the piece looks. Pieces can also look different inside with indoor lighting vs. outside in the sun.

Can I request alterations to any of your designs?
​
Yes absolutely. As mentioned above you can request your choice of earring fitting. You can also request changes, for example, extra length in a bracelet or change the length of a necklace. Simply get in touch and ask about your request.

Do you do custom orders?
​
Yes. If you would like me to make something specific just for you, please get in touch and we can discuss your requirements further.

Do you have a store that I can visit?
​
No, we do not have a physical store nor the overheads associated with it. This means we can keep costs as low as possible ensuring our customers receive the best possible prices.

What makes your jewellery designs different?
​
You will find many online jewellery stores that make handmade or bespoke jewellery, but most of the designs ten to be similar and are usually made using designs of very simple basic gold or silver pieces. The designs here at adorn-you are inspired to provide you with jewellery pieces that stand out, are totally unique and provide the wearer with something that is distinctive and reflects their personality.
